GAB’S Mission:

To act as a voice for the Gujarat Association Barnsley Community of United Kingdom representing their views, defending their rights and opinions regarding their religious and cultural beliefs and fundamental rights as citizens of United Kingdom.

To provide economic, sporting, employment and social opportunities for the Gujarat Association Barnsley youth and members alike.  Promoting real issues and raising awareness in the community.

To organise fundraising for charities and worthy causes of both National and International importance.

To support cultural developments and celebrations of Gujarat holidays and festivals.

To improve links and communications with other organisations throughout United Kingdom and other countries.  To work towards strengthening links between Business and Community with Indians of United Kingdom.

To work against racism and strive towards greater racial tolerance, hoping to build a multi-racial and prosperous United Kingdom in the new millennium.
